Research On Modern Prison Environment Greening Design

The modern prison advocates carrying out socialist humanitarian management for prisoners in our country. This requires the prison environment construction keep pace with the times, including prison greening construction. In the past, the studies of prison conditions mainly stay in soft environment such as prison supervision system, the concept of criminal law. And the Construction of the prison focuses on supervision security. However, the quality of prison’s space and environment hasn’t been paid much attention to. There is little research on architectural space or greening construction in prison, so we have no scientific theory and guiding ideology. All of this result in that greening construction in prison is too unbending and unassigned before, there are too many shortcoming adapt to social development and the appropriate for our time. Above all, how to carry out greening construction in prison and produce the best possible results becomes a comprehensive research topic in prison construction at present.The feature of prison environment, the general principle of prison greening construction, divisional greening design and the benefits of prison greening construction are discussed in this paper. First of all, prison greening takes lots of benefits. Secondly, to have a comprehensive analysis on prison’s environment which is special, lots of documents are read and investigations are conduced. It expounds respectively the audience of prison environment, punishment, culture, layout and building space and environment. On the other hand, to know more about prison environment and the requires of prisoners, the construction of prison greening environment by field reconnaissance and questionnaire survey are taken. Then, it constructs initially prison greening system, five principles that the prison greening must follow are extracted, what are security, education, science, ecology and economy by analogizing the greening construction of other place, according to analytical environmental conditions of prison and some problem or demand on prison greening which is found by field reconnaissance.
