Heavy haul railway has increasingly become the development direction of rail freight in China, with the improvement of the speed and axle load, it improves the foundation under the rail accordingly, especially to the section that transition between different orbital forms, that is the requirements for the transition section is more strict then the general section. Therefore a reasonable transition period treatment measures must be taken to ensure good running track.This paper is based on the subprojects of Hunan province zhexi station cross-dam the slide rail renovation project--the processing and designing transition section of overloading sideways passing the dam. Because the rail system is long-term in overweight loads, the damage of the track structure is serious; especially the part of the different track structure transition section is even more evident.The processing and designing transition section is divided into two parts:one alleviates the impact of overweight on the whole track bed of concrete; the other is non-ballasted-ballasts transitional stiffness apart enough to cause significant settlement.So that, this paper proposes two measures:one is composite structures of rubber and bridge steel plate;the other is ladder track.Based on the related theory, this paper gets the influencing parameters, makes the numerical simulation analysis for the two treatment measures using the finite element software ABAQUS, which analyze the impact on its performance made by the factors such as the axle load, speed and stiffness. The results show that:it’s reasonable that the rubber in the composite structures the thickness is30mm and the elasticity modulus is20MPa; the axle load and thickness of ladder track is the most obvious affected its static and dynamic loading response, related evaluation index significantly amplitude of variation, what’s more, both types of treatment measures can meet the actual engineering requirements for track structure under different working conditions.The two measures in this paper are realistic use value, they are can be used in heavy haul railway:the composite structures can be applied to the larger stiffness section of railway railroad-bridge (culverts) in heavy haul railway road, so as to alleviates the impact of wheel on rail; the ladder track can be applied to the small stiffness section of railway railroad-bridge (culverts) in heavy haul railway road, so as to reduce the difference between the stiffness in the form of different track structure and improve the riding comfort along the track.
