Abstract:During a strong earthsquake, the adjacent bridge of the high speed railway simply-supported bridge will pound each other for reasons taht natural vibration characteristics varies and bearing failure. CRTS II plate is always adopted into the floor system of high speed railway simple-supported beam. And based on the high speed railway simple-supported bridge, the effect of the floor system in a pounding process,as well as pounding models under a strong earthsquake will be researched in this paper. The main research contents are as follows:(1) Several existing pounding models such as Kelvin model, Hertz model and the Hertz-damp model,as well as their charactors will be demonstrated in this paper.(2) Based on the Kelvin model and motion equation of the adjacent bridges which takes friction effect into consideration, a pounding model is deduced for the floor system. And both energy loss and friction effect can be taken into account in this model.(3) Two simply-supported bridge models, one with floor system and the other with pounding element are established with the use of ANSYS software, and time-listory analysis for the pounding response will be underway at the sametime. The accuracy of pounding model can be proved with the cpmparation of this two models. And the results show that the pounding model proposed in this paper posses a high precision and this simplify the process of establishing a moed,as well as improve the computational efficiency.
