Base dissipation technology and energy dissipation technology is a new type of passive control technology. Base-isolated building is setting isolation bearings between the basement and superstructure, due to the horizontal stiffness of isolation bearing is relatively smaller than the structures", so the displacement can be mainly focused on the isolation layer; Energy dissipation is setting dampers or energy dissipation brace in the super structure to absorb energy, reduce the seismic response of superstructure. When the building is of large height and low stiffness, the seismic response of superstructure is still large, even adopting base dissipation technology, then can consider to set energy dissipation in the superstructure to further reduce seismic response.Firstly, based on general finite element software SAP2000, through a simple model for fast nonlinear analysis (FNA) method and the method of Hiber-Hughes-Taylor a, Newmark-β and Wilson-θ comparisons to determine the analysis speed and precision analysis. Secondly, established three-dimensional finite element model of12layer framework base isolation structure, selected two natural and an artificial seismic wave, respectively, of the model high aspect ratio and vertical direction for input, research in the horizontal and vertical seismic dampers to how to lay down in order to achieve optimal damping effect, and using optimal placement damper model with only the base isolation and energy dissipation model building model for comparative analysis, the study damper base after every shock damping effect as well as the structure under rare earthquake overturning issues to improve the situation.The study showed that FNA method has the feature of fast and accurate analysis; Abtained the conclusion of that setting up energy dissipator at the bottom of the1/4range of high-rise frame of base isolation building can achieve a good effect on level shock absorption, setting up energy dissipator at the bottom of the1/3range can achieve a good effect on vertical seismic shock absorption. The high rise frame of base isolation buildings that are provided with energy dissipator have good effect on horizontal and vertical shock absorption and good ability of anti-overturning.
