The stability analysis of the FRP laminated plate applied in the practical engineering has an outstanding practical significance; some related researches are discussed in this paper, the main studies and conclusions are summarized as follows:In the chapter of introduction, the developing history of the composite materials, and its application in civil engineering, and the types and characteristics of the composite materials are introduced. Besides, the goal and the significance of the study as well as the research status at home and abroad are presented in the paper. The laminated plate applied in the paper is the special orthotropic plate. The stability analysis of the simply supported composite FRP laminated plate subjected to pure shear, pure bending and combined stress of bending and shear. Based on the small deflection theory of plate, the energy method is applied in the process of solution. The numerical analysis is carried out by the ANSYS finite element analysis software, the impacts of different materials and the ratio of length to width to the buckling of laminated plates are taken into accounted, and four parameters of composite materials, four plates according to the ratio of length to width are used. The theoretical value and ANSYS value analysis is verified, got the formula of the FRP simply supported laminated plates respectively in pure shear, pure bending and bending and shear buckling loads of composite stress. In the deformation nephogram of ANSYS, the deformation law is found. Last, the main work and conclusions are summarized, and the further prospect of the paper is done.
