In recent years, with offshore drilling and production platforms of digital function toconstantly enrich a large number of the power station’s installed energy use an increasingproportion of high-power frequency conversion device driver motor. The application of alarge number of electronic devices is bound to produce harmonics in the system, theincreasingly serious problem of harmonic pollution of electrical energy production, utilizationand use of equipment has caused great harm. Active filtering devices to overcome theshortcomings of the traditional LC filter and reactive power compensation method, theapplication of the control device to achieve dynamic harmonic suppression and reactivepower compensation, rapid changes in harmonic and reactive compensation. With the powerelectronic devices, computers, control technology, the active filter has been rapiddevelopment and practical application.This article introduces the marine module drill the composition of the mechanical andelectrical drive systems and a variety of conditions, on the basis of the active filter devicetopology and operation principle of data research, to comb ine the research results, revealingthe rig system harmonics generated by the root and its influencing factors. Based on theanalysis of different drilling conditions harmonic change, pointed out that the differentworking conditions for harmonic current and voltage. Harmonic suppression effect andimpact on system power factor harmonic comparison of the data through harmonic calculationand field measurement, evaluation plus active filtering device to determine the optimal filterdevice suitable for the marine module rig and current control the method of harmonicsuppression and harmonic control program, and active filtering devices and methods of siteassessment.Through this study, harmonic suppression module drill at sea electromechanical drivesystem, power factor mentionedHigh, and offshore modular rig power quality improvement is a practical guide and referencevalue.
