Installation And Commissioning Of The Seawater Circulating Pump For Nuclear Power Station Conventional Island

Nuclear power, as one of safe, clean and environmentally friendly energy, gets rapid development in China in recent years. The sea water circulating pump, as one of the key equipments in nuclear power plant conventional island, has always been dependent on imports. With the continuous pushing of our nuclear power equipment localization, the localization of the sea water circulating pump is not only the need of SBW development, also the need of nuclear power development in China, as well as the need of the pump industry to break the foreign technology monopoly and innovate independently. Based on the national key nuclear power project, this paper introduces the structure, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of the seawater circulating pump, which has provided foundation for the localization design and manufacturing. In the process of its drawings, with reference to the national standards and enterprise standards, the research is focused on the structural design and design verification of the pump. The material localization is also conducted to reduce the cost. The relevant technical specifications of procurement and the special quality control procedures of products are redacted, in order to process and manufacture the products with good quality and quantity. The design drawings are finally archived to provide technical reference for the future of nuclear power equipment localization. The installation procedures and commissioning file are edited to guide the subsequent pump plant site installation and commissioning. The succeed in the starting test of the sea water circulating pump in the nuclear power plant marks the SBW has had the ability to independently design and manufacture the sea water circulating pump. It provides a strong guarantee for the subsequent thermal test for nuclear power, and has the milestone significance to the localization of the sea water circulating pump.
