Sapphire is a kind of special material, it has good physical properties, make itshave many excellent properties, and has a wide use in industry, suitable for aerospacedefense industry, high-grade watch in civil mobile phone screen and at the same timethe mirror surface utilization is also more and more high, but it is the material of highhardness sapphire characteristics caused the difficult processing of sapphire materials,at the same time also restricts its applications in many fields and promotion.At present, the domestic related research on sapphire processing is very few, forthe finished product molding processing process involves less. So in terms ofsapphire grinding research is necessary.This article mainly aims at the problem of sapphire mechanical grindingdifficult to machining, the design is suitable for the special sapphire fairing theclamping fixture and a set of optimized processing technology, so as to realizeprocessing of sapphire.First, this paper aim at the characteristic of the sapphire material, analyzes thesapphire material removal mechanism, laid a good theoretical guidance forsubsequent processing experiment base. Then, in view of the sapphire materialprocessing processing properties and size of particularity, the study design a set ofsuitable for large size sapphire, the processing technology of the fairing. In order tooptimize process parameters, the orthogonal experiment, the collection of therelevant experimental data. Based on fuzzy theory, we achieved in sapphireprocessing parameters are optimized, so as to solve the influence of some uncertainparameters on the processing, optimized the process parameters. Finally, concluded aset of high quality, has a certain guiding significance to the theory of large sizesapphire, fairing of grinding process. Verified by practice, this article proposedprocessing parameter and processing technology to some extent make up for the bigsize sapphire fairing inexperienced grinding shortcomings, improve large size sapphire, fairing the production efficiency and reduce processing costs.
