Andthen, through the analysis of the situation of the current situation on waterfront landscapetheory at home and abroad, construction and experience, the study proposed sustainableplanning and design approach of waterfront landscape.Secondly, this reseach discussed the landscape ecology, eco-design, the basic principlesof landscape design, to provide basic theory and methods landscape design for the urbanwaterfront. Moreover, by taking the landscape planning and design programs of Yiliwaterfront for instance, the research results are as follows:1. The rapid development of the real estate market has led to the privatization ofWaterfront Landscape, which exacerbated waterfront landscape into "social differentiation ";2.
