With the continuous development of the urbanization process and the continuous improvement of urban economic level,the urban ecological pattern has been destroyed gradually.And the phenomenon of “urban diseases” has become an important issue in the current urban transformation and development.Under this background,the theory of “City betterment and Ecological restoration(CBER)” came into being.This paper selects the urban greenbelt as the research object.Aiming to discuss and study its design method from the theoretical and practical level under the guidance of “CBER”.This article uses three research methods: literature research,field survey and cross-research.Firstly,the related concepts such as urban waterfront and waterfront greenbelt were clarified through literature review,and specific research objects were clarified.Secondly,combined with case analysis,the inspiration of waterfront strip green space design was obtained.Based on this,the cross-study method is used to study the composition pattern,value,and role of urban greenbelt in urban space.The types,components,functions in ecological restoration and urban repair are summarized.Based on the construction status and development trend of urban waterfront strip greenbelt,specific spatial and functional evaluation methods,greenbelt optimization framework,and updated design strategies are proposed from the macro,meso,and micro levels.Meanwhile,combined with the Huangshan Yangtze River waterfront greenbelt design,the theory was applied to practice.The research results are as follows:The ecological restoration and urban patching of the waterfront greenbelt need to be based on the integrity and scientific nature of the ecological corridors,and be carried out from three levels:macro-meso-micro.Firstly,at the macro level,it is necessary to sort out the background of the city,the relationship between river basins,and the overall ecological pattern and architecture based on the current conditions to determine the shaping status and development trend.Then at the meso level,start with the location and spatial characteristics of the site,study the economic value,social and cultural connotation of the site,sort out the current plant community and plant landscape,obtain the advantages and disadvantages of the site,and establish the green space optimization under the guidance of the urban dual repair theory Design framework.Finally,falling to the micro level,taking specific optimization and update strategies for the site's ecological restoration,environmental interaction,behavioral experience,and contextual content.Including stable ecosystem building,water quality improvement,functional restoration of natural corridors in waterfront greenbelt,interaction improvement between green space and water enriching participatory spaces and interactive landscape facilities,city functions improvement,site historical excavation...
