Abstract/Summary:
Overhead contact line is an important part of urban rail traffic. It’s an electrical power transmission line which hoisted above and along the tracks, transporting electric energy for urban rail trains. Locomotive gets current from catenary by pantograph, if happens to bad weather coursing ice cover accident on overhead contact lines, it will forbid the pantograph of rapid rail trains getting current in normal way. or even make the pantograph broken due to the long-term mechanical ice scraping. All of these will affect the normal operation of the entire rail traffic. The existing de-icing methods on overhead contact lines containing traditional mechanical knock can no longer meet the need of emergency requirements of widespread ice cover accidents, so studying and designing a overhead contact line ice-melting electrical control system have a major significance for mitigating the damage from the ice cover accident.This article described and analyzed the ice-melting method about railway catenary and overhead power lines in the domestic and abroad firstly, and based on the data of Dalian express rail line3, I established the ice-melting solution of overhead contact line referring to the aerial power line DC melting ice technology which regards the line as load. The paper contains the hardware design of overhead contact line ice-melting electric control system, and the ice-melting power supply which used to supply DC current to melt ice. It treat the single-chip microcomputer AT89C52as controller core, controlling the data acquisition unit to get temperature or current data, calculating the melting current, switching and controlling the power supply output current to melt ice.Compared with the traditional mechanical de-icing methods, the ice-melting control system design in this article can save lots of manpower and accelerate the processing speed of the ice cover accident. The closed-loop ice-melting currents control improved the stability of output, and the interlocked structure between ice-melting power supply and the traction substation power supply improved the reliability of ice-melting electric control system.
