With the growing demand for hazardous materials, hazardous materials transportation has become increasingly prominent. As one of the main way, road hazardous material in China is facing unprecedented challenges. How to improve the safety of the road hazardous materials Transportation is the primary task. There are effective measures to choose a relatively safe and effective road transport routes, and estimate the consequences of possible incidents, in order to reduce the rate of accidents and mitigate the consequences of the accident disasters.This paper research on two aspects:one is the risk analysis of road hazardous materials transportation, the other is transportation route optimization.Firstly, research on the status of the current domestic and international hazardous materials transportation. Summary the current applications of GIS-T in the road transport of dangerous goods. Analyze the accident causes and consequences of the road hazardous materials transportation. Study the characteristics of the road hazardous materials transportation Strategies. Put the road hazardous materials transportation risk analysis basic steps.Secondly, research on the road transport of dangerous goods risk analysis model, put forward the improved hazardous materials transportation analytical model based on the change of accident rate, and the improved consequences of the regional population risk analysis model. Use the Gaussian plume model to simulate and analyze the consequences of the accident of the road hazardous materials transportation base on the Matlab. To realize the consequences and effects of gas diffusion visualization base on the ArcGIS.Analyze the route optimization influencing factors and path algorithm of the road hazardous materials transportation. With the transport distance, the accident rate, the transportation costs, the scope of accident consequences and other route influencing factors, to realize the route optimization of the road hazardous materials transportation.Finally, use the Dalian urban Liquid ammonia road transport as an example, to study the risk analysis, to simulate the diffusion model of the gas leakage. With the GIS-T route analysis capabilities to achieve route optimization base on the angle improved Dijsktra algorithm. Provide decision support for the management of road hazardous materials transportation.
