The vibration alarm is a trouble with special failure in the particular Wuhan-Guangzhou HSR line. The running mileage just reached200,000kilometers, very rare hollow worn tread formed, which fully exposed the bogie stability margin is not sufficient. Although the velocity is reduced to300km/h recently, such as the troubles of temperature rise in the axleboxes continue to occur, and the hollow worn tread formed unusually. Therefore, apply the anti-hunting absorbing-band theory to achieve the optimal parameters of bogie. It is not only necessary but also urgent.Through the optimal parameter configuration of the yaw damper, the vibration alarm can eliminate completely. And in order to achieve the technology objectives of optimization the re-profiling periods of wheelsets, it is necessary to optimize the parameter of anti-hunting damper to overcome the sensitive influences of worn wheel-rail. The survey analysis of vibration alarm trouble shows that:the typical failure has the following technical characteristics, such as the local worn treads, the resonance of bogie frames and the lateral flutter of trailer bogie frames. The comparative analysis of dynamic simulation illustrates that the causes of the rare local worn treads:Because of the safety stability margin is not sufficient, so the resonances of anti-rolling torsion-rods are produced due to the350km/h overspeed running. Consequently, the corresponding frequent dynamic components are presented in the lateral creep forces and the local hollow worn treads will be formed. According to the re-profiling periods of300km/h, the equivalent conicity is controlled under0.35, which is in good agreement with the moderate economic speed. However, the best economic speed has to reduce to280km/h when the local worn treads are formed. Meanwhile, in order to ensure the safety margin of the high-speed trains, the stability robustness also should be taken into account. Thus, based on the test data of anti-hunting damper, applicating the new theory of anti-hunting absorbing-band, developed the technical measures of anti-hunting soft constraints regulation and the optimal parameter configuration. And the3important stability characteristics are therefore presented as follows:reasonable extension of velocity space and system optimization of bogie frames’dynamical loads; effective depression of harmful worn treads’negative influences and more emphases on the stability robustness of high-speed train. This shows that:take the vibration alarm of Wuhan-Guangzhou HSR as a typical failure, its value lies in how to coordinate the contradiction between the sensitive influences of worn wheel-rail and the deficient of the bogie stability margin. So the technical measures of safety stability margin regulation are put forward. The safety stability margin regulation is different from the passive control of wheel-rail wear. It is a positive measure that based on the anti-hunting absorbing-band. The technology of anti-hunting soft constraints has been applied to the long trainset, the tracking test data also confirmed its technical superiority. This laid the technical foundation for the European Department Vehicles of bogie unified parameters optimal regulation. The research works in this paper are supported as follows:1.
