Centrifugal pump is a kind of general fluid machinery, widely used all areas of industrial production and social life. With the appearance and development of stamping centrifugal pump, stamping and welding centrifugal pump has gradually replaced of the casting pump in recent years. Stamping and welding centrifugal pump uses the manufacturing technology of punch forming, which not only avoids disadvantage of t casting technique, but also hydraulic performance is better than the traditional casting pump. Now, stamping and welding centrifugal pumps has been widely used in areas of petroleum chemical, oil, food, beverage, wine, medicine and health, electric power, textile, printing, dyeing, environmental protection, water treatment, surface treatment and electronic machinery, building water supply and other industries. Guide vane is the important fixed flow components in Stamping and welding centrifugal pump levels, it has dual functions of water absorption chamber and water pressure chamber, it not only can lead stroke but also recovery energy. In this article, it takes the MDP40-8-8stamping vertical multistage centrifugal pump as the research object, uses the CFD simulation method, conducts numerical simulation of two levels, researches the matching relation between guide vane outlet of stamping and welding centrifugal pump and impeller inlet, and chooses one scheme to do experimental verification. The main researches of paper including:(1)Give a brief introduction and analysis of the design method of guide vane structure, access to large numbers of books and literatures to organize and summarize the diameter of guide vane export, settling angle of guide vane’s import and export and the related calculation formula of guide vane’s blades number, making the theoretical base for the strategy of change guide vane’s design parameters in this paper..(2) Give a brief introduction of Pro/ENGINEER3d drawing software, and use Pro/E software to draw guide vane model in different design parameters, and then assemble the different guide vane with other flow passage components separately., lead in the unstructured grids of Gambit to block meshing. After inputting the grid file with Fluent software, calculate the numerical simulation. At last use CFD data post-processing technology to compare the calculated results, in order to obtain the characteristics of distribution and internal flow in guide vane and impeller.(3) Make an analysis of each numerical simulation data, reach a conclusion that when change the parameters of impeller, quality situation of impeller’s mediocre state, simulation results show that changing the diameter of guide vane outlet, setting angle of guide vane outlet, the number of guide vane blades and the distance between guide vane outlet and impeller inlet’s design parameters, the flow states of impeller are all affected.(4) Choose one scheme of the numerical simulation to test, create prototype of guide vane in different size, organize and analyze the test data, test results and the numerical simulation results have a high similarity, prove the correctness and reliability of the numerical simulation.
