| There is over200schools in China has architecture department now, most of the them have gap on both teachers, hardware and software conditions, and maturity on teaching system, compare with the architecture departments of key universities. At present, most of the architecture specialties in china still adopted the teaching principles and teaching methods of1950s, but it’s not fully applicable for architecture faculties of non-key colleges and universities. Furthermore, the building market grows very fast and has it’s own characristic, by the feedback of the market and employers on students’ ability, indicates there’s room for improvement on current teaching principle of architecture specialty in non-key colleges and universities.From the perspective of students, the working ability and the viability in society after graduation are the ultimate goal of their study. Thus, this paper compare the conditions of different kind of architecture faculties, analyze the weakness and negative factors in architecture major of non-key colleges and universities, suggest the market positioning of them under the premise of engineering practice, combine it into education destination, then present suggestions on teaching mode of these architecture faculties, in order to arouse other teachers’mentality, so as to guide students to found a road for the promotion and development that suits their reality. |
