Piping systems are widely used in various sectors of modern production, not only in the chemical, petroleum, electric power, metallurgy and other industries, but also in all types of machinery transport, nuclear power plant cooling systems. Therefore, the study of fluid flow inside the piping system, not only has great theoretical significance in the field of fluid mechanics, but also has wide applications in engineering applications.In this paper, we choose the piping system as the research object, using Fluent simulation software as a platform for analysis. By analyzing the structure of the fluid velocity, the distribution of pressure and fluid energy losses in the pipeline simulation under real state pipeline system, we can provide accurate mathematical models and analytical basis to the straight pipe, elbows structural design and strength calculation. This research covers mechanics, hydromechanics, theology and other subjects. The content of this research is as follows:Chapter1illustrates research background and research status, analyzes the current problems in ventilation system, proposes the research direction and gives the research contents.Chapter2describes the basic theoretical equations, numerical simulation method, discrete format, grid type and mesh quality of the flow field numerical simulation theory. Then determine the CFD flow field numerical methods and computational software for ventilation system analysis.Chapter2describes the basic theoretical equations, and determines the CFD flow field numerical methods and computational software for ventilation system analysis. Through numerical simulation of ventilation systems, create the corresponding mathematical models and boundary conditions. At last present the evaluation criterions of ventilation system performance, and confirm the idea of step optimized piping system.In the chapter3, numerical simulation method is adopted in the main duct fluid flow simulation. The main duct airflow characteristics, static pressure distribution and uniformity of each exit are analyzed, considering the proportional distribution baffle and baffle golden ratio distribution, to optimize the structure design.Chapter4uses static regain method to design the multi-branch model, then study the fluid delivery process and flow characteristics in multi-branch duct system considering main branch pipe diameter ratio, separation distance and inflow flow. Through analysis get the solution of manifold parameters with which the duct system reach a balance state, then get a quick reference model.Chapter5uses the structure optimization ideas and models said above, designed subway ventilation control system and tea fermentation machine ventilation system, piping systems in accordance with the known conditions. The outlet air flow is drawn by comparing simulation results to verify the correctness of earlier studies.Chapter6is the summary and prospect. Summarize the research and give an outlook on future research directions.
