With the rapid economic development in China, electric load growth year after year. So improve grid transmission capacity demand is very urgent. However, the contradiction of transmission corridor construction and protection of arable land resources are very prominent. In order to save transmission corridor covers, the new complex power transmission lines has been widely applied. T-type electric power transmission lines can reduce the radius,and improve efficiency in the use of line. Saving advantages transmission corridor has been widely used in China’s urban power grid interconnection system because of its large transmission line capacity. With the continuous rise of complex transmission lines, many scholars began to fault lines ranging research program.In this paper, the signal transmission lines extracted singular points using a new method of time-frequency atom decomposition. For the same pole double circuit transmission line phase short circuit with the same name can not measure the amount of electrical problems, further proposed dual-mode volume estimation method based on the type of fault.In the transmission line with a T-branch of the line, it is difficult to use single-ended power frequency fault information to achieve fault location under various fault conditions. This paper uses three failures initial wavefront measurement methods to reach the end of the time difference to determine fault slip. The results show that the method of the noise signal is relatively small, it is possible to efficiently extract the signal components of high frequency information.
