Primer as the key element of weapons and ammunition ignition and other important work, its performance directly affects the weapons launch. Primer can be reliable ignition and output to meet the need of energy. It’s an important technical parameter of projectile smoothly to ensure its accuracy of emission and emission. Therefore, this article on the firing performance of primer in high, low and normal temperature was studied. At the same time,30mm caliber gun as the foundation, carried out simulation modeling and a series of numerical, effects of primer on interior ballistic performance.Based on the combustion characteristics of primer, this paper designed and used micro adiabatic ignition characteristics of closed bomb. Using the experimental device for measurement of high, low, normal temperature primer sample, the sample in a closed container change relationship between pressure and time. According to the empirical relationship between mass flux and pressure primer deduced formula, using VC++programming, get the primer mass flow and the change rule. Aiming at the different temperatures of primer ignition performance of comparative analysis, empirical formulae are fitted primer output mass flow under different temperature. The primer of firing in the30mm caliber gun, combined with modern interior ballistic theory and considering the effects of primer jet propellant combustion, the interior ballistic one-dimensional homogeneous flow model. This paper gives the chamber bottom jet moving boundary condition and bomb boundary conditions, using Mac Cormack finite difference method for numerical solution, and calculate the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of pressure percussion primer breech in high, low, normal loading conditions, the results were compared and analysed.
