Now, the electric power system plays a huge economic benefits, which has thecharacteristics of large power grids, large generators, high voltage, and long distance.Meanwhile, it also exists potential problems of the voltage stability. One of the effectivemethods to solve the voltage stability problems is partition of reactive power voltage andcontrolling in the domain, but the key to prevent and control voltage stability problem is howto quickly and reasonably form with voltage fault as the center zones and implement effectivereactive voltage control. Therefore, researching on partition of reactive power voltage andcontrol methods have theoretical significance and practical value, the main work is as follows:According to the differences between voltage fault degree and duration, the paper givespre-partition method and emergency partition method on partition methods of reactive powervoltage.Under the condition of the normal voltage, the paper proposes a new pre-partitionmethod of reactive power voltage control based on vector similarity theory. The method formsreactive power voltage sensitivity matrix by using general Tellegen’s theorem to calculatereactive voltage sensitivity of nodes. The similarity matrix is calculated by mathematicalmethods of vector similarity. By redefining the electric distance indicator is to form electricaldistance matrix. The voltage control regions are divided by using the theory of fuzzy.Under the emergency condition of voltage, the paper proposes a new emergency partitionmethod of reactive power voltage control based on principal component analysis. Withreactive power voltage sensitivity indexes, electrical distance indexes, the degree of thecontrol nodes and the priority of the control nodes as partition feature indexes, the methodforms characteristic indicators matrix. Using analysis of principal component analyzesprincipal component of characteristic index matrix, which determines the first principalcomponent of the characteristic matrix. In the calculation of the score based on the firstprincipal component, it selects reasonable threshold to partition.In the control method of partition reactive power voltage, it gives self-discipline controland coordination control to solve the problems of reactive power voltage in regions ofreactive power voltage control for reactive power of the fault node.The simulation results of IEEE-30system, IEEE-39system and IEEE-107system showthat the partition methods of reactive power voltage control are accurateness andeffectiveness.
