ABSTRACT:Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) has been recognized as efficient way to solve urban traffic problems. As an important part of the ITS,Traffic Guidance System (TGS) can guide the traffic flow to a new equilibrium state in transportation networks so that can help alleviate traffic congestion, reduce traffic accidents and decrease traffic pollution. Therefore, the design and development of traffic guidance device, which serves as the physical basis of TGS, are undoubtedly of great significance.To this end, the paper details the strategy for automatic generation of guidance algorithm, and the framework and assistant decision-making system of the traffic guidance system,which can automatically generate algorithms with GIS map display and can give comparative research. The main works of this paper are summarized as follows:(1)This paper does research on strategies for guiding the formation and release of the relevant algorithms and models,describes the data mining algorithms and ORAR clustering algorithm.Then it combines BP neural network and genetic algorithm to improve the algorithm results. Moreover,guidance release of information space, and the time difference distribution method have been researched.(2)This paper does research on published algorithms for guidance strategies. First, analyses and re-uses the publish-history database,by the use of ORAR data mining algorithm.And optimizes the ORAR algorithm when it is applied to a computer.Finally gets a better strategy based on the experience of space and time release.In addition,it takes use of GABP neural network algorithm to predict the traffic volume based on the combination of real-time traffic volume,gets a comparative analysis and decision support publishing strategy. All above are displayed by decision support subsystem to assist managers.(3)This paper has Designed a GIS-based decision support system for traffic guidance system.The system disseminates information related to VMS information as background,combined with road traffic conditions,finally realizes a guidance strategy generating system.It has used GIS and spatial information processing technology,integrated computer software editing techniques and traffic engineering theory, effectively integrates and applies to intelligent transportation network in Beijing guidance control technology.(4)Considering the main functions of the guidance system from the application point of view,this paper designs a road network database, and the framework and structure of traffic guidance system.Then the system with GIS display are realized by programing.
