The portable generator is a new type of portable power source; it was widelyused in our contemporary society for its various kinds of excellent characteristics: itcan serve as a standby application or an emergency power supply. It can not onlytimely provide power supply for communication system and medical care systemwhen the circuit was broken down caused by natural disasters, guarantee the publicfacilities’ daily operation, but also will apply on fields like military use and wild fielddetections; it can also provide a stable power supply for some precision instruments.According to the survey statistics: today’s portable generators sold in domestic andabroad markets are all foreign products, therefore, to develop a domestic portablegenerator is of a high market value and a great academic significance.The author illustrates the theoretical backgrounds, research significance andstatus quo of inverter power source, introduces the development process of portablegenerator control technology and give examples to analyze the merits anddisadvantages of nowadays widely applied numerical control arithmetic.The authorpresents the performance indexes of domestic and abroad products; analyzes andcompares the disparities between them respectively. By analyzing and introducingthe merits and disadvantages between single-phase half bridge and topology of fullbridge, the author confirms and establishes the topological structure andmathematical model of system topology used in this paper. The author introduces themodulation principle of SPWM and analyzes two types of SPWM control modeprinciples. By elaborating their respective characteristics, the author confirms theSPWM modulation way of the system. The author focuses on explaining the waveform control of the inverter, which uses repetitive control and PID control as thenumerical control strategies. Then there is a further detail introduction of the twonumerical control strategies, under the circumstance of well familiar withfundamental theories and control strategies of the two algorithms, there is a detailanalysis on the structures and functions of the two control strategies. Also, the author designs model parameters of repetitive and PI strategies in accordance with systemthis paper presents, modeling and simulation progresses of the control strategies areaccomplished with the help of MATLAB; the excellent feasibility of the systemdesigned in this paper is tested by the analysis of results from different loadsituations. The system presented in this paper is made into an experimental deviceeventually and successfully verifies the results from simulation process and acquiresan ideal output waveform. The software and hardware design of the system. Thesystem presented in this paper is made into an experimental device eventually.
