| Bridges are lifeline engineering of traffic engineering, if they are damaged in anearthquake, it will bring huge loss to people’s lives and property. Continuous beambridge is one of the most widely used bridges, to reflect actual forces of bridgestructures in earthquake, the friction of bearings should be fully considered in seismicanalysis of bridges. On the basis of the theory of seismic analysis, we do the analysis of a continuousbridge in method of dynamic time analysis. The topics of the research including:(1)Introducing the performance and restoring force models of commonly usedbearings, proposing the model of sliding bearings and those sliding guidelines, andestablishing reasonable finite element models of bridge;(2)Analyzing the vibration characters of models, comparing and getting theinfluence of the bearings’ friction to vibration period of structures;(3)Selecting the appropriate seismic waves in accordance with fortificationintensity and venue type, analyzing the reflection of the structural models under uniformexcitation, and contrasting the reflection of models in different pier diameters withdifferent friction coefficients and initial stiffness.Through the above analysis, we can draw the following conclusions:(1)In most cases, the friction of sliding bearings is beneficial to bridge;(2)When the activities bearings have not yet entered the sliding stage, there will bea negative damping rate;(3)Whether the friction of sliding bearings reflects the response of the bridgedepends on the sliding bearings into the sliding stage. |
