In this paper, a medium and small-span continuous girder bridge was taken as theresearch object, based on the theory of seismic resistance for bridge structure andcalculation methods for seismic resistance and structural dynamic characteristic, a finiteelement analysis model of the medium and small-span continuous girder bridge wasestablished and dynamic characteristic of the bridge was analyzed. At the same time, theanalysis of seismic responson by the response spectrum and time history analysis methodsunder E1,E2levels of earthquake for medium and small size span continuous girder bridgeswas executed, the basic characteristic of dynamic properties and seismic response for themedium and small-span continuous girder bridge was obtained.The following research tasks were conducted in this thesis:1. Research significance and background of this issue was discussed in the chapter one,based on this, the common damage and seismic resistance under seismic response and thecontent and methods for seismic design was summarized. The research status of the seismicresponse for bridges at home and abrord was also summarized.2. Several basic theories and analysis calculation methods include static mothod,elastoplastic analysis, response spectrum analysis and dynamic time-history analysis wasintroduced and proposed in the chapter two.3. The finite analysis methods for structural vibration of the bridge was summarized,then based on the real project of the medium and small span continuous bridge, constitutivedynamic finite element model was established and structural dynamic behavior parametersinclude structural vibration-type and corresponding frequency, period was obtained, andcalculation results were analyzed. Some dynamic characteristics conclusions of the mediumand small span continuous bridge was proposed in the chapter three.4. Based one the established finite element model, using response spectrum analysisand dynamic time-history analysis, the seismic response analysis was executed and thetypical response characteristics of seismic response was obtained. The comparative analysisbetween the results and the code of design for the seismic resistance and the safety studieswas carried out in the chapter four.5. According the abrove analysis and the real project calculation, some conclusions andrecommendations were proposed, in the hope of providing theoretical basis and the safetyperformance calculation methods for the medium and small-span continuous girder bridge.
