Squirrel cage induction motor due to its use in reliable, stable and higher price advantage, applied to all kinds of daily life and industry fields, especially in industrial production, the machine is stable operation related to whether the production smoothly, related to product quality and even in some special occasions related to the life safety of the production personnel. So to motor parameters and performance research is particularly important.In the traditional in motor design field, engineering personnel through to the design requirements through a series of processing, make sure the original design of electrical motor parameters, these parameters only meet outside, macro requirements, but to motor internal magnetic field thermal field of the specific situation is not very clear.This article through the finite element method was used to machine the magnetic field and thermal field analysis, use autoCAD to establish Y802-2squirrel cage induction motor finite element analysis model, and then through the ANSYS powerful import graphics function model diagram into ANSYS software environment of induction motor model analysis, through to the motor magnetic field and thermal field simulation respectively, the motor in ideal conditions magnetic field and thermal field distribution and the results were compared with the experiment. Finally, the hypothesis motor article break in fault simulation, the squirrel cage induction motor in the article break in fault cases of magnetic field and thermal field change situation, the analysis results show that by using ANSYS finite element analysis software can be in motor design phase motor running simulation, this paper analyzes the magnetic field and thermal field, so as to provide reference for motor design optimization, but also can be used as a motor fault detection and diagnosis provides a new method.
