In recent years,with the networking, communications and the rapid development of mi-croelectronics technologies, video surveillance systems are widely used in warehouse man-agement system. But now the traditional real-time video surveillance system can not auto-matically, intelligently monitor the scene,so the introduction of other areas of technology to achieve intelligent video surveillance is necessary.RFID is a non-contact automatic identifica-tion technology that uses radio frequency signals to target recognition and access to relevant data,and its advantage is to allow the controled objectives to "speak".At the same time.robot technologies continue to develop,its applications are increasingly widespread.Therefore,in an unattended environment,the use of robot platform combines traditional video surveillance systems and integrated the RFID technology to build a new generation of intelligent monitor-ing systems,warehouse supplies automated management is the future lies.With the help of substantial related references, we design a modern warehouse control system which integrates the RFID information and video surviveillance information. Firstly,the hardware scheme of the video monitoring module and RFID information collection module are designed. The paper introduces some relevant parameters of the main hardware devices in datails,such as "Voyger Ⅱ" mobile robot,USB camera,RFID reader and RFID elec-tronic tags and so on. We design the interface between the system and the computer,and some hardware connection charts are showed. Secondly,in order to achieve image segmenta-tion,some commonly used segmentation algorithms such as K-means,FCM,Elliptical Cluster-ing are stuyed. The paper presents an improved elliptical clustering algorithm for image seg-mentation.The algorithm first divided the data space into cells of equal size,and then replace the unit with Ellipticals, and through its continuous extension,adjustment,merging of Elliptic-als to complete iteration. Compared with the above algorithms,its advantages are reflected in the following aspects:low computational complexity,do not know the number of clusters in adance,unsensitive to dirty datas. Finally,in order to integrate the video image and the RFID Information,the paper proposes a method based on rules.It completes program design of the video surveillance modules and the RFID information collection modules. While takeing pre-cious substances in and out of the storage for example,the system analysis and realizes the RFID information and video information fusion process and verifies the rationality of the de-sign.
