With the development of modern industrialization, the require to crane is more and more, and more types will used in the future, so the traditional design of the crane can no longer meet modern design requirements, starve for a new design concept, to meet the safety and practical requirements.Traditional design of the crane is base on structural mechanics and engineering experience, the randomness is large, the design of the crane both bulky and can not guarantee their safety, resulting in safe and frequent accidents, causing major losses to lives and property.With the development of computer technology and the use of the finite element method, the complex engineering problems have been resolved.10T single-beam crane for example, combine the finite element method and mechanical calculation, and anslysis the crane with static and dynamic, use the workbench software to calculate the cranes under different operating conditions of the uniform lifting and sudden emergency stop, result the changes of some parts of crane’displacement、 stress and the corresponding data, to identify the weak link of the crane by analyse these data, and then optimize the design, improve unreasonable.
