The thrust sliding bearing bears axial load, the bearing structure is largely determined by the working conditions. It is usually made of an annular form, and the sliding surface is parallel to the plane. However, in order to form oil wedge with the shape of certain convergence between the thrust journal and thrust bearing and in mutual motion lubricating oil film can establish fluid dynamic pressure and the corresponding carrying capacity. Usually and pad surface design bevel, step surface, cylindrical surface, helical surface shape, etc. This paper referred to a kind of special tile surface shape of the thrust sliding bearing, the lubrication performance launched research. The bearing surface is usually designed in bevel, step surface, cylindrical surface, helical surface shape, etc. The article mentions thrust sliding bearing with a special shape of the tile surface, and launches a study of its lubricating properties.In the front of the article we discuss and research the theories knowledge of the thrust sliding bearing. The article introduces the process of establishing bearing analysis model.Firstly the surface of the pad model is established by UG. After importing the waveform surface into ANSYS Workbench, improving it into bearing model. Secondly, the mesh and boundary type is generated by Meshing function part in Workbench. At last, taking the grid into Fluent for setting the boundary conditions, the laminar model, cavitation model and solving method. Through the iterative calculation, get the internal flow field characteristics of the thrust bearing, and understand the flow trend of flow field and pressure distribution rule. On the basis of the above, comparative analysis the pressure distribution and carry capacity of bearing tiles with different structures, and further study the relationship between the corrugated tile thrust sliding bearing capacity and circumferential of the circumferential, structure parameters of radial, the gap size and the speed of mirror plate.
