According to the requirements of the auto hydraulic double drums shock absorber durability test, we design the automobile shock absorber double acting on the endurance test bed. The test bench meets the standards of QCT-545-1999"car telescopic shock absorber test method". The vibration incentives come from two different directions, simulate uneven roads and the car body vibrations. At the same time, we design the loading side force mechanisms, to help us with the better evaluations of the shock absorber’s damping.Based on the analysis of the durability test basis, through a lot of calculations, we choose a reasonable vibration scheme, design the test bench mechanical mechanisms in details. According to the possibilities of the mechanical structure’s failures, we made finite elements of analysis. The results show that the test bench have the23KN of biggest tolerant force, and the working frequency of the test bed are away from the natural frequency, and it’s stiffness and strength conform to technical requirements. Also we design the hardware test circuits, account for control circuits. Using MATLAB, for two-way motions and side force loading, we simulate test characteristic curves, reflects the trend of the test curve.
