With the rapid development of the city,the urbanization process is becoming more and more fastspread. The urban terrain was completely changed. The natural landscape was replaced by thereinforced concrete. The increasing impervious areas made a bad impact on the city’s water circulationsystem and its’ ecological environment. The green space in the city is a relatively effective systemwhich can improve urban habitat ecological environment and restore the urban water cycle system.Combined with the construction of urban landscape in china this paper will discuss the rain floodcontrol in the use of urban green spaces from three different levels—the micro, meso and macroscale.This paper based on the analysis on rain flood management at home and abroad to discuss themajor question. It will give a detailed discuss and research from the microscopic scale rain flood controltechnology measures using to the medium scale design and the river basin planning of the city, tryingto explore a feasible model which is suitable to China’s urban rain flood control. Based on the threemodels of different scales and the models abroad,this paper discussed the importance and necessity ofthese measures and methods. Further more,it will focus on the possibility and the way they combinewith the green land. These methods will reduce the surface runoff and protect the water ecologicalenvironment which could provide good examples for the landscape designers in later city’s constructionwork.
