Research On The Landscape Planning Of Water System Space In Lingnan

Water is the basis and premise of all life. People live by the water, build city beside thewater, work and multiply by the water, what forms today’s social life environment. Peopleenjoy the achievements of material civilization and spiritual civilization, at the same time,also bring great stress to landscape environment, especially to the water system spacelandscape. Water system space and water landscape play an important role in perfectingliving environment, improving comprehensive competitiveness and promoting sustainabledevelopment. The harmony and health of water system space and water landscape canmaintain good coordination between people, water and social environment, and play anactive role in the healthy development of urbanization.At present, how to achieve reasonable protection and utilization of water system space hasbecome a research focus at home and abroad，many cities take the water system in theirurban areas as a key object in the urban space renovation.This thesis selects the typicalLingnan region as the research object, researches water system space utilization strategyfrom the aspects of landscape planning, which has important theoretical significance andpractical significance. Through the analysis and research of the evolution process and valueof the water system space in Lingnan, this thesis first demonstrates the Lingnan watersystem space has not only played an important basic role in the history, but also been theimportant of Lingnan landscape and ecological elements. Then the study of the new watersystem space value and further development are discussed through expounding the ecologyvalue, landscape value, social value and economic value. This thesis adopts theinterdisciplinary perspective to study the domestic and foreign relevant theories andpractices，including the landscape ecology theory, the river landscape construction theory,city open space planning theory, urban waterfront development theory and mountains andrivers city theory，and cite the typical examples including the water system space in FortLauderdale, San Antonio, Venice and Jiaxing. In the method construction of the waterspace landscape planning in Lingnan, this thesis explores a reference model of this type ofwater system space landscape planning from planning goals, functional division, planningcontent and planning steps. At the same time, some new ideas are put forward for watersystem space landscape planning from compilation process standardization, technologyapplication and planning concepts innovation. In the research of the water system spacelandscape planning of Lingnan features, this thesis first analyzes landscape types,component elements and the spatial forms in Lingnan, adjust measures to local conditionsfor reasonable water system space landscape planning. Then some innovation and feasible suggestions are put forward from the aspects of the construction and protection ofcharacteristic water system landscape,and solutions which can be used for reference forsolving the water system space problems in Lingnan are provided.
