| The leaning-type arch bridge, a new type arch bridge with novel and artistic structuredeveloped in recent years,is mainly composed of leaning-type arch system composition andbridge deck system, wherein the leaning-type arch rib system is the main load-bearing structure.That is made up of two vertical arch ribs and two inclined arch ribs located on the both sides ofthe main arches. The transverse braces connect the main steel arch and oblique arch, but notransverse braces connect the main arches. The ultimate bearing capacity of leaning-type archrib system plays a crucial role for the safety in the construction and operation process. In thispaper, based on model experiments and finite element analysis for ultimate bearing capacity ofthe leaning-type arch bridge, the studies are carried out:(1) This paper through the large-scale finite element program ANSYS, with10degrees ofleaning-type arch rib system as an example, established the leaning-type arch system of finiteelement model. The respectively consider of Geometric nonlinearity, materials nonlinearity andthe double nonlinearities effects on the ultimate bearing capacity of the system of theleaning-type arch ribs, arc-length method combined to track and analyze the process of itslateral instability.(2) It is the first to design, production and installation of a single arch rib, parallel archribs Department of inclination10o,20oand30o, respectively, the series leaning against the archrib system test model strain and deformation measurement points, and arranged in a keyposition jack sync loaded, completed testing, the test model loads with horizontal and verticaldisplacement curve as well as the main arch ribs, stabilize the arch ribs and stretchers strain,leaning against arch bridge for the first time in the elastic, plastic and damage the stagefirst-hand the raw data and the numerical solution of the finite element compared to each otherto verify the correctness of the experimental method and finite element numerical solutions.(3) It is the first to tracking the leaning-type arch line vertical under external loads andlateral equilibrium path, the leaning-type arch bridge structure plastic deformation anddestruction course, and the buckling mode and failure mechanism of arch rib based on themodel test, reveal the stability influence of leaning-type arch rib system, ultimate bearingcapacity, the confidence regions of leaning-type arch bridge lateral buckling critical load, verifythe research group of the leaning-type arch, lateral buckling mode and the accuracy of the braceof vertical and lateral buckling mechanics model. |
