This paper aims to study the electrical machine turn-to-turn windingbased on the theory of the lightning impulse method and similarities ofnormal wave pattern and waves got through the characterization of thecorrelation function method. And this paper has analyzed the currentsignal of machine turn-to-turn fault mathematically using Fouriermathematical analysis and Wavelet theory and compared the advantagesand disadvantages of different signal processing methods. And thepossibility of motor inter-turn voltage intelligent monitoring system istestified by the experiment simulation and its practical application. Theresearch achievements are as follows:(1). The paper analyzes the lightning impulse method on the mathematiclevel and it is expounded with the use of the correlation function method.And it also diagnoses its faults and reflects the comparison of normalwave patterns and those patterns collected by the system.(2). The paper has also devised Silicon controlled switch circuit whichcan be used in high voltage condition. This kind of circuit can effectivelycontrol the on-off of the main circuit and also the return and the maincircuits separately without interaction.(3). As for the software, with the use of Delphi programming method,Man-machine dialogue interface is achieved. And with the use of Oracle,this paper makes the functions such as data store, call, play back, printand so on, come true.(4). As for the elimination of the impurity disturbance, this paper comesto the conclusion that the wavelet analysis theory is superior to theFourier analysis under the comparison of the current signal on bothaspects of the time-domain and frequency-domain using these twomethods, for the former can detect the quality of the tested coilingwinding efficaciously which harbors guidance significance to thedevelopment of measurement and control industry.
