Automobile had become an essential tool for people’s daily life, with the development of automobile industry and society. However, there are many negative problems because of the increasing cars. Now, energy conservation and environmental protection is paid attention to by the automotive industry. The most important things what we should do is to improve fuel economy and reduce emission pollution in the context of ensuring vehicle dynamic performance.With the goal of improving the vehicle dynamic quality and fuel economy, around the optimization matching design of automotive powertrain system, what the paper described is as follows:In this paper, we first briefly discussed and analyzed the evaluation index of automobile power performance, fuel economy and emissions. Then we optimized the calculation method of automobile power performance, fuel economy, emissions and powertrain parameters.In this section, the isoparametric transformation interpolation method of Engine load characteristic was proposed. The mathematical model of the isoparametric transformation interpolation method was established. With this model, we can work out the fuel consumption rate and the major pollutant emission ratio under any engine speed and torque. So the car fuel consumption and major emission of any conditions would get.Optimal matching algorithm of powertrain based on comprehensive evaluation of engine characteristics was proposed. The mathematical model of automobile optimal matching was established. Using the experimental data of Engine universal characteristics, the minimum fuel consumption rate, the mean fuel consumption rate and the mean-square fuel consumption rate were obtained, then the comprehensive evaluation standard of engine fuel economy was established. Through the dynamic constraint condition, the fast calculation method of optimal matching was obtained.The automobile dynamic system simulation and optimization matching Web platform was developed. Based on automobile performance calculation, powertrain parameters optimization, the isoparametric transformation interpolation method of Engine load characteristic and powertrain optimal matching algorithm of engine characteristics comprehensive evaluation, used Apache+PHP+MySQL and MATLAB, the web simulation platform was developed. The web simulation platform included seven modules:power performance simulation calculation, fuel economy simulation calculation and emission simulation calculation, powertrain parameter optimization, the optimization matching, database operation and guestbook.Based on the Web platform, we calculated the automobile performance index, and optimized powertrain parameters, compared before and after the optimization of the power performance, fuel economy and emissions. Used the Web platform, the automobile powertrain was matched. Compared the optimum matching parameters with the original parameters of the automobile powertrain, the validity of the theories method and the availability of the Web platform in this paper were verified.
