The power grid development direction in twenty-first Century is a smart grid, the characteristics of smart grid is self-healing, security, compatibility, interactive, harmonious, efficient, high quality, integrated etc.. With the continuous development of the grid and the power network becomes more and more complex, the level of automation of electric power system operation of the increasingly high demand, due to the limited human experience and ability of calculation, SCADA/EMS software function in traditional has gradually unable to meet the needs of users, there is an urgent need to be based on the SCADA/EMS system on the basis of smart grid development to meet the needs of "intelligent" analysis system.Intelligent analysis and decision-making system is the general term for the construction of electric power system analysis and control software based on the SCADA/EMS system. The system is the extension to the function of the current analysis, controlling, dispatching, make full use of the power network operation information to help dispatch relevant person to carry out analysis and decision, make the dispatching by the current "artificial analysis type" to "automatic intelligent". The system can improve the ability of dispatchers to control power and defense power grid operation risk, make system security, shorten the processing time of the accident, greatly improve the reliability of power supply.The new development of intelligent decision support system is relatively independent, you can integrate it into the existing SCADA/EMS system by way of plugins, also install it together with the SCADA/EMS system, the system installation is simple, less maintenance, mainly includes the following modules:the outage analysis function, power load transfer function, overload load transfer function, supply risk analysis and the power grid blackouts risk assessment function, load cutting decision-making function, assistant decision function, fault analysis for single-phase grounding fault, risk analysis function of closed loop.
