| The management of generation scheduling in Shandong is classified as daily scheme, weekly scheme and monthly scheme, which is a gradually refining process. A set of Power grid scheduling information technology system is developed by the dispatching center of Shandong Power Grid. Coordination and dynamic optimization of generation scheduling at all levels can be realized, as well as step check and closed loop feedback With N-1check. Nonetheless, there are many deficiencies in the existing management system, such as the obvious deviation between forecasting load and actual load. Rolling scheduling system use ultra short-term load forecasting with a step length for15minutes. According to the deficiency of existing management system, the ultra-short term forecasting load in is calculated in real-time to keep the actual deviation fluctuating in a very small range. In the next part of this dissertation, the AGC module in EMS system and its operational mode are introduced. By issuing the rolling scheduling instruction to parallel operation units, closed loop control of load deviation is achieved and artificial intervention is adopted only in special situation. This method reduces the workload of power grid dispatchers and line staff. Thanks to rolling scheduling system, the adjustment quantity of AGC unit obviously decreases, and the adjustment space is expanded, making the operation of power grid more security economic and reasonable, as well as the automation level and management level in power plant.
