With the increasing of car ownership and traffic accidents in China, traffic safety hasbeen the focus of public concern. For the purpose of traffic safety, the automobileintelligent anticollision warning system was investigated in paper. The system cancorrectly judge the distance from the obstacles in front of the vehicle. While gettingdangerous distance, the system will rapidly alarm to alert the driver, which takesappropriate measures to prevent traffic accidents.First of all, the factors affecting driving safety was analyzed, and by comparing theactual accident cause analysis to determine that the human factor in traffic safety was amajor factor. Secondly, by analyzing and contrasting of recognition technology,millimeter-wave radar set was as the signal recognition device, which had the highaccuracy and the long recognition distance. Then, on the basis of vehicle safety brakingdistance analysis results, a core algorithm of keeping a safe distance between vehicles wasproposed. The system received information from the millimeter-wave radar by the MCU,and applied the core algorithm to determine whether an alarm. In order to improve theeffectiveness of the system and reduce false alarms, a number of suppression alarm switchwere designed to avoid false alarms in case of low speed, turning, reversing. The measureimproves the actual value of the system. Finally, simulated test analysis of the system wascarried out in different driving condition, the test verified the effectiveness and feasibilityof the system.The system not only can early warn under normal circumstances, but also to ensurethe safety of driving vehicles in case of extreme haze weather or drivers judging abilitydropping. Therefore, the study of the system has application value. |
