Research On Loop Closing Operation For10kV Distribution Network

With the rapid development of social economy, eletricity users require a higher demandof power supply,and the traditional operation to transfer power in distribution network can notsatisfy the users’ requirement of power supply.For the reasons above,the loop closingoperation is being tried in Foshan distribution network.Using loop closing operation in thesituation of power load transfer and equipment maintenance can improve the reliability ofpower supply, and also significantly reduce the outage impact on user.How to realize the loopclosing operation in distribution network, has the vital significance to the power supplyenterprise. Therefore, it has very high practical value to analyze the loop closing system andstudy its feasibility.In this paper, combined with the actual Foshan distribution network, mainly do researchin the following areas:1. The typical Foshan closed loop distribution network operating system is modeledby using the simulation software PSCAD/EMTDC, and verify its feasibility. Throughsimulating four kinds of feeder model,we can get steady state current and impact current, andthe simulation results were compared.2. Establish a closed loop current practical calculation template. Through inputingparameters, the template can figure out feeder current, circulating current and themaximum impact current,and verify the feasibility of the practical calculation method.3. Study on the effect of loop closing operation on feeder protection. Analysis of10kVdistribution network loop closing operation influencing factors for feeder protection, throughtheoretical calculation,the criterion of loop closing operation affecting protection is given, ithas important significance to loop closing operation guidance.4. To classify the loop closing operation, combined with the actual Foshan distributionnetwork, according to the variable factors affecting the feeder load and10kV bus voltage,thepaper assess the safety of the loop closing operation of Foshan.To analyze the success rate ofloop closing operation according to the statistical results,and then make an overall assessmentof loop operation risk in Foshan distribution network.
