Due to the closed configration and compact parking of the Undergroundstereo garage, the temperature within the park would increase singnifiantly incase of fire, which could highly lead to fire spread into a large scale and poseheavy chanllenges to the integrity of cars parked in the underground park andthe safety of occupants and properties in buildings above the park. Therefore,the research on temperature distributions of the Underground stereo garageunder fire conditions would have vital significances. This thesis mainly appliesthe CFD method to study the Underground stereo garage fire behaviour. Themain results of this dissertation are as follows:(1)Taking a three-dimensional underground garage engineeringbackground, based on CFD principle, a three-dimensional underground garagefull-size model, designed the fire scene to determine the parameters of theselected critical computing.(2) Get the inside temperature field distribution of the underground carstereo under different fire scenarios. The results showed that: when the sprinklersystem is effective, in addition to a high temperature near the fire source, theother location less thermal radiation fluxes; And when the sprinkler system fails,there is a potential risk of ignition of their car on fire on the car floor;Meanwhile, when the sprinkler system and smoke control system failure is notturned on, there is a potential risk due to high temperature flue gas gatheringand ignited the opposite side of the parked cars on fire.(3)The influence of the ventilation exhaust system of temperaturedistribution in the garage. The results showed that: open or not smoke controlsystem has little effect on the small power of fire, but the development andspread of fire power is very significant impact.(4) In case of fire, the case of open burning state combustible smokecontrol system is relatively stable, the temperature of the measuring point ismaintained within a certain range; temperature at the source of fire, largerfluctuations when not turned on smoke control system, in addition to outsidenear the fire source, the temperature measuring point temperature risingelsewhere.At present, a small amount of research on the Underground stereo garage fire has been conducted in China comparing with abroad. The fire design of theUnderground stereo garage has a few prescript codes to adhere. Thus, the resultsof this thesis could provide reference for further study of Underground stereogarage fire and compiling the fire protection design.
