| High pressure water jet method of recycling waste tire rubber is a new method of high recovery rate and no pollution. At present, research on the recovery mechanism for this method is also not deep, need further study. In this paper, numerical simulation and experimental methods to explore some early, provided reference to understand the recovery mechanism.Numerical simulation of impact problem of water jet using finite element method has difficulty, this is because of the finite element mesh distortions in the treatment of fluid large deformation and spallation problems, and causing error calculation. And the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) is a meshless method, the advantage of the method is adaptive, suitable for dealing with large deformation problems of fluid. Rubber is a kind of super elastic body, generally uses the finite element method (FEM). This paper simulates the water jet erosion rubber material with SPH-FEM coupling method, make full use of the advantages of two methods.Use null model as constitutive model in calculation, its shear stress is proportional to the shear strain rate. Use the Mie-Gruneisen equation as state equation. Ogden third-order model is chosen in a variety of rubber strain energy equation because this model is accurate in predicting the large deformation, applicable to the problem in this paper. Selected the suitable rubber material parameters as samples for analysis in this paper.This paper simulated the process of water jet impingement rubber within20μs, and the calculation results are analyzed. First, analyzed the deformation process of water jet and rubber and the change law of water jet internal pressure. Secondly, through the analysis of stress of axis direction, gets the law of stress distribution of rubber strain under water jet impact round the pit was obtained. Thirdly, through the analysis of equivalent strain inside the rubber, gets the rubber material deformation degree distribution. Finally, analyzed in different jet velocity, gets the relationship between soil erosion pit depth and jet velocity.In this paper, using high pressure water jet equipment to do the test of water jet peel rubber particles, the recovery of the rubber particles and the cross-section morphology was observed by scanning electron microscopy, and using the laser particle size analyzer analyzed the rubber particle size distribution, rubber particle size and the width of the rubber stripping scope on the impact interface of numerical simulation is consistent. |
