Underground traffic facilities with high capacity, convenience have become an important part of modern city. From the year of1965when the subway construction began in China, the following cities such as Beijing, Shanghai、Tianjin. Guangzhou、 Nanjing、 Shenzhen.、Chengdu、Shenyang、Foshan、Chongqing、xi’an、Suzhou. Wuhan、Hong Kong、Taipei and Kaohsiung have opened the subway system. In the next few years, there will still be more cities starting to construct the subway system. At present, China has become the largest market for subway construction. But there are many potential risks that are hard to be identified. The core technology of the problem that orbit transportation construction faced is the safety risk management of the project. Therefore, it is imperative to study safety risk management in subway project construction. To greet2014Youth Olympic Games and for further development of the city, Nanjing city has built three metro lines (line1, line2and southern extension of line1) with three metro lines under construction ((line3, line4and line10(connected to southern extension of line1)) and adding pre-building metro lines to9lines. Most of these metro lines cross through the center of the city, where all kinds of viaducts and pedestrian bridges have been built. Adjoining with Yangtse River, the geographical position of Nanjing city is special. Besides, Qinhuai river runs across this city and is mainly for flooding discharging. The stratum deformation and movement caused by subway construction may result in additional stress on bridge foundation and adjacent bridge foundation settlement. In addition, it is important for rivers to maintain its flood-discharging ability in the process of subway construction thus safety problems can never be ignored. The thesis studies building plans of typical underpass flood-discharging bridge based on the special geographical location of Nanjing metro line10. It investigates and estimates on-site projects considering three factors:human, objects and environment using orbit intersecting theory from accident-causing theory. Finally, combined with construction project, in order to keep stability of adjacent bridges and flood-discharging ability of the river, it puts forward corresponding measures for risk assessment management so that the goal of safety and economical is to be reached.
