Along with the development of social, the progress of science and technology and theimprovement of people’s living standard, the requirement of people to building has beenexpanded gradually from single safety to the healthy, comfortable, energy saving, durable andso on many indicators. While the wet environment of building is the key factor to affecthuman health, human body comfort, building energy consumption and durability of buildingstructure. A short time ago, project team has researched and developed a kind of integration ofenergy-saving weighing new building material——concrete sandwich straw block, andcarried out a large amount of basic experiment research for the block. The block is mainlycomposed of three kinds of materials, including concrete, mortar and compressed straw block.The compressed straw block is biology-base porous materials, theoretically has the very goodthermal insulation properties and humidity controlling performance.Firstly, the thesis regards the three kinds of component materials of the concretesandwich straw block as the research object, including concrete, mortar and compressed strawblock. By oven the drying methoding method, the displacement method after drying, guardedhot plate method and consulting relevant data and specification to obtain dry performancedensity, porosity, thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity of the three kinds ofcomponent materials, It can improve the basic physical parameters of the three kinds ofcomponent materials. Furthermore, project team research and development the simpleresistive absolute humidity sensor. The sensor was tested by multimeter, oscilloscope,ammeter and the LCR automatic data collecting instrument. Through comparison and analysisthe data obtained by various methods, the sensor matching detection method was determinedfor the LCR automatic data collecting instrument testing method.Secondly, due to the features of glass dryer small space volume, weighing notconvenient, the automatic weighing dryer was designed and manufactured. The isothermalmoisture absorption and desorption characteristics of the three kinds of component materials,namely concrete, mortar and compressed straw block, was studied by desiccator method. Theisothermal moisture absorption and desorption curves for three kinds of component materialswere ploted, the expression for three curves was fitted. At the same time, The isothermal moisture absorption and desorption characteristics of compressed straw block was studied bythe method of constant temperature and humidity box. The isothermal moisture absorptionand desorption curve was ploted. The datas obtained by the two methods were contrastiveanalyzed.Finally, this thesis has carried on the experimental study on the isothermal moistureabsorption and desorption response test of compressed straw block, researched and analysedthe the isothermal moisture absorption and desorption speed of compressed straw block. Thehumidity detection sensor and detection compressed straw block method are determined.One-dimensional isothermal moisture absorption and desorption experiment research ofcompressed straw block was carried out to research and analyze its internal humidity changein the process of experiment research.This trial project is supported by the Shandong province science and technologydevelopment plan(2012GNC11401). The study perfected the basic physical parameter of thecomponent materials of concrete sandwich straw block, is good for expanding thoughts of theresearch and development of humidity control building materials, can provide a theoreticalfoundation for coupled heat and moisture transfer experiment and numerical modeling.
