The main content of this paper is for a new kind of assembly equipment system applies to the new technology in the shipbuilding industry. This system reduces the ship-manufacturing cycle, and improves its quality. This thesis studies the previous equipment, and analyses the process of the subsection assembling. And then puts forward a design scheme that consists of the upper machine, the PLC, the measuring equipment, the drive equipment, and the supervisory control and data acquisition system. This system was built according to the design scheme, and the systematic tests were finally finished. The dissertation adopts the method of "Five Steps" according to the process of the subsection assembling, and divides the process into horizontal and vertical adjustment, and level docking. Then construct a three dimensional space coordinate system on the basis of the process of movement, and build a mathematical model. The theoretical modeling analysis shows that the solution put forward by this paper can ensure the high precision of the subsection assembling even there is an obvious docking error between the two subsections. The ship-body assembling system this paper researched is based on the PROFIBUS standard. This system uses PLCs with their corresponding modules as control devices, and standardized high precision measuring equipment to enhance the stability, versatility and extensibility of the system. The concept and application of the ship-body assembling system is introduced. The movement process and calculation of the ship-body assembling is demonstrated. The structure of the movement control system is analyzed. The backstage supporter and the supervisory control and data acquisition system is designed. The method to synchronous error is pointed out. And the reliability and accuracy of the system is tested.
