The Application Of High Performance Cooling Agent For Modified Asphalt

At present, all countries in the world are looking for a way of energy-saving emission reduction and improving the road of asphalt mixture performance. The exp eriment use Sasobit, sak and EBS three kinds of high performance organic cooling agent, and EBS is our company’s new product, these three kinds of cooling agent can reduce the asphalt mixture mixing and compaction temperature. Effect of cooli ng is analyzed and compared comprehensively based on three kinds of cooling agen t mixture of asphalt and asphalt mixture.The aggregate gradation of asphalt uses AC-13, SBS modified asphalt, and eac h cooling agent has5volume, respectively is0%,1%,2%,3%,4%. A comprehensive analysis of the three kinds of cooling agent in SBS modified asphalt by index and viscosity; through the forming temperature of asphalt mixture, respectively at differe nt temperatures with various mixing ratio cooling molding asphalt mixture specimen, and the road performance of asphalt mixture are analyzed, the main experiment in cluding the high temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance and water st ability; finally, the social economy of the cooling agent of three kinds of asphalt w ere evaluated.The experimental data shows that, with a certain dose on the asphalt in the th ree cooling agent, can reduce the mixing and molding temperature of asphalt mixtu re, when three cooling agent content is3%, can reduce the forming temperature of asphalt mixture at25℃, and improve the high temperature performance of asphal t mixture to a certain extent, and the anti-cracking of asphalt mixtures at low temp erature and water stability decreased slightly.
