As modern people’s lifestyle and diet changing and the pace of life speeding up, theincidences of cardiovascular disease are increasing. In the process of the treatment ofcardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, the use of cardiovascular medical devices ismore and more common. Guaranteeing the accuracy and stability of the test results of suchequipment is of great significance for clinical diagnosis and treatment. However, research forthe detection methods for such devices and testing equipment is still in its infancy.The characteristics of the human pulse wave, propagation velocity and rhythm canreflect the physiological conditions of the human body. The working principle of manycardiovascular medical devices is based on detection of human pulse wave. This paper aims toresearch on human pulse wave and create an analysis model of the human pulse wave. Andthen design a computer simulation system to simulate the pulse wave of human body indifferent situations using the model programmed. These simulated pulse waves can be usedfor creating a standard library of waveforms. This work can be used as the basis for furtherdevelopment of better measuring and testing apparatus for cardiovascular medical equipment.The main content of this paper is as follows:(1)An analysis model of the human cardiovascular is established. By reading a lot ofbooks and papers on human physiology, pathology and cardiovascular modeling, simulationand analysis on elastic chamber model have been made according to the principle of humanpulse wave generation and propagation. On this basis, the simplified heart model and theelastic chamber are coupled as a cardiovascular system model to simulate the human pulsewave.(2) A hardware transmission circuit is designed and made. A hardware circuit whichuses STC89C52RC as the control core is designed and developed for the D/A converter ofthe pulse waveform, the voltage regulator and filter. PDIUSBD12chip that support USB2.0standard interface made by Philip is used to design the USB interface of next-bit machine.AC language control program is written for the microcontroller.(3) A software for simulating human pulse wave is finished. Using Visual C++6.0software as a platform, a software is designed and developed,which can simulate the human pulse wave, choose different waveforms, display waveforms, adjust parameters andcommunicate with computer.(4) Debugging and experiments for the system. Characteristics of human pulse wave indifferent pathological states and corresponding model parameters are summarized. Then thesimulation and analysis are done by using the software system designed earlier.
