The Research Of Installation Art’s Interactive Applications On Urban Landscape Design

Landscape has been affected by art since ancient times, created by painting, sculpture, poetry etc. As a contemporary art, installation art reflects the trend of philosophy, aesthetic in postmodernism, breaking the traditional concept of art, and endow urban landscape design new artistic creation and pattern of manifestation. Installation art extends landscape and public space through materials, emotion and sites, creating the space which covers publics. Thus, making public participation and interaction indispensable part of urban landscape design.This article firstly includes the concept and history of installation art, then studying the relation of installation art and urban landscape, stating the import influence of installation art on urban landscape. As a result, art connects with publics through the interaction of installation in landscape design and the function of people and objects in space.Next, this article analyzes the installation art’s interaction in urban landscape design through pictures and data. Further, using domestic and foreign landscape design cases to illustrate the significant function of installation art on urban landscape design. At last, dissecting installation art’s new expression measures, design approaches, and its unique design elements, such as theme, location, shape, material, function, light and so on. Through which achieves the excellent interaction of art, people and environment.In the course of the research, this paper makes great efforts to rise the inspiration of design-level to the new level that installation art and the urban landscape design are cross-integration and interactive. Then analyzes which benefits the way of urban landscape’ interactive made in promoting the development of urban and harmonious life after the application of art installation. On a theoretical level, this paper provides more detailed and novel design ideas for designers and related professionals, making the content of relevant theories more substantial.Finally, this paper puts forward its own thinking and outlook to the interactive design of the urban landscape and installation art. Expecting the artists enhance the design elements’ functionality and material in their creation. And putting the emerging technologies into the design methods made our modern urban landscape the benefits of uncommon. It would promote the rapid development of installation art in the urban landscape design.
