Research On Green Planning Strategy Of Public Space Along The City Roads

China’s politics, economy, society and culture have developed rapidly and madbrilliant achievements since reform and opening up. Its survival society has translatedinto the developmental society. But during the process of economic development andsocial transformation, our country is facing some serious challenges like resourceshortage, environment pollution, inefficient reward and so on. The restriction ofresource and environment has become a bottleneck of our sust ainable development.So as one of the important ideas to solve the problem, To speed up the construction ofgreen city and coordinate the contradiction between ecology, resource, society, whichhas become our general consensus.As the link of each functional area in the city, the core part of the urbanlandscape, the most important place of city life, urban road has constantly abundantfunctions. The public space along it has gained much more focus, and somemultitudinousness urban public space have appeared constantly. However, there arestill lots of problems compared with developed countries. The formation ofpublicspace is seriously hindered by the thought of heavy vehicle light person, whichlead to the shortage of publicspace. The publicspace along the road is unsystematic,unaccessible, inconvenient and has some unsafe factors. Its surroundings can notsatisfied the need of people’s contact. And its design result in a severe waste ofresources because lack of the consideration of green.From the perspective of the concept of green, this thesis discuss how to promotethe realization of our green purpose by the design of public space along the road.Thereby to summarize some relevant design methods and strategiesFirst of all, this thesis has combed the research and achievement about the greenplan and urban public space at domestic and overseas, and established thecorresponding theoretical framework, and made clear the constituent elements andtype of the public space along the road under the guidance of the green concept.Secondly, learning from the foreign practice cases of publicspace along the road,summarizing the experience enlightenment, and analysing the problems of thepublic space along the road in the stage of China’s green urban construction, so as toseize the key points in the construction of green public space. Then, this paperexplored the optimized green plan strategy about the public space along the road based on the green city concept from the technical point of view. And building theevaluation index system from tow directions both the resource-saving andenvironment-friendly. And put forward construction mode about the public spacealong the green city roads from the point of view of the planning implementation andthe management. Finally, based on the field research about the public space alongroad in Hexi district, appling the summarize strategy to the optimized design of thepublic space along the Xiaoxiang Road and Lushan South Road, witch provide animportant reference for the realization of the "two-oriented" development goals inHunan Province.
