With the accelerating steps of China’s urbanization, more and more children are living in the city, but due to the lack of voice, the safety activities for the children to play of the city green space is dwindling, at the same time the injury cause by the accident to children is frequently. Therefore, the exploring, based on children’s safety way of the construction of urban green space is imminent.In this paper, children in 6 ~ 12 years old as the research object, and we set Nanchang City as study area, analysis the behavior characteristics, the security risks and security of children’s outdoor activities by sampling survey method; summarized children’s safety status of Nanchang urban green space by on-the-spot investigation; comprehensive wield the Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process(ahp) to build children’s safety assessment index system of urban green space; And explore the urban green space construction based on children’s safety, the main conclusions are the following:(1)Most parents worry about the safety of the children’s outdoor activities alone, parents’ primary concern is the traffic safety, social security.which is exceeds the external environmental factors of the urban green space, then, comes all the elements of urban green space and security. While children’s outdoor activities with low frequency, short duration, poor autonomy characteristics, the most commonly used types of urban green space for parks and plazas, residential communities, streets, playground.Because of parents’ escort degree is higher, most of the children in the urban green space is relatively safe, most common types of injury of children in the city green space are, touch, injury, cut, traffic injuries, bites, poisoning, accidental suffocation, allergies. Analysis on the influence factor of safety of children’s outdoor activities, showed that:(1) children in different gender, grade, have significant differences in factors of parents concern degree, degree of children’s injury situation, the children’s afraid degree. of on indicators respectively; children in different school have differences in the way to school’s cost, parents’ fear, facilities set up for children.(2)the degree of parents’ worry,frequency of children’s activities with parents, parents’ chaperones frequency, children’s scared degree, children’s fear degree of hang out, children’s way out time consuming have significantly negative correlation with the frequency of children’s out door activities.(3)the frequency of parents’ accompany playing with children, parents’ chaperones, met bad people was significantly negative correlation.The urban green space in the children’s safety situation of Nanchang is not optimistic, for the deficiency of children’s safety outdoor activity space, construction maintenance did not grasp the strength of children’s physical and mental characteristics, management needs should be strengthened.(2)By using the Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process(ahp) this paper construct the contains the field environment safety and environment safety two first-level indicators; plants, terrain, water, security, safety, material, traffic safety, facilities, safety management 7 secondary indexes and 25 tertiary indicators of children’s safety assessment index system of urban green space, and each index weight coefficient. On the basis of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method constructs the comprehensive assessment of urban green space in the children’s safety, put Cui Hu park in Jiang Xi Agricultural university as an example of evaluation index system of the validation. Evaluation results show that the urban green space in the children’s safety assessment index system and assessment is simple and convenient maneuverability, can achieve precise quantitative assessment of urban green space for children, with strong promotion value.(3)Because of children’s activities have the characteristics of suddenly, optional, only build "go out safe passage- site safety play- home safe passage" green space system, can effectively to ensure the safety of children. For this reason:(1) in the macro level, proposed building a "safe green dot – security green gallery- security green centre" the green gallery structure of comprehensive urban green space system planning technique to protect the safety of children.(2) in the middle level, Settings from the layout, traffic organization, scale, facilities layout, safety five aspects, respectively, puts forward the safety green point, safety green gallery, security green centre, three kinds of urban green space planning measures to protect the safety of children.(3) at the micro level, through plants, terrain, water, materials, facilities, transportation and management seven aspects put forward to ensure the safety of children of the elements of the internal and external environment of urban green space design methods. In addition, from the understanding to the simple demand, service requirements, the game needs three aspects put forward the measures to meet the needs of the disabled children of urban green space design, and from the laws and regulations construction, public participation, the safety education three aspects put forward to strengthen the social way of urban green space for children.
