| China, an ancient civilized country with a history of never fractured, a land where mountainous area accounts for about2/3of the land in land area, undoubtedly, it has a profound ethnic and cultural resources and mountain tourism resources. So, how to combine these two resources and turn them into the impetus of today’s architectural design which architects should reflect on.Accidentally, I saw the Hangzhou Fuchun resort hotel, its strong regional customs and beautiful environment around deeply impressed me, I could not help but had a question:How to create a unique charm Mountain Resort?For research, I chose a distinctive design company which specialize in "resort" for my practice, during this period,1contacted several designs of mountain resort projects and read about many regional and cultural theories. Naturally, I felt interested and confident because of this experience.Then I had a question in my mind:What is the mountain resort? What is territorial and regional culture? What is the factors which constitute culture in mountain resort? How to use these factors to spread the regional culture theory?Based on this, the paper consists of the following six chapters:Chapter1:I describes the origin of the research study and related concepts and put forward five basic questions about it. Finally, I mention the method, purpose and significance of the research and propose thesis framework initially.Chapter2:I summarizes the definition and characteristics of the mountain resort, then make a brief introduction to the domestic resort development. Based on this, I elaborate the significance of the regional and the architectural regional culture to the mountain hotel.Chapter3:Through the four dialogue between the hotels and mountainous terrain, climate, water, regional eco-technology, I relaborated egional natural properties characterization about the mountain resort, then summarized the expression factors about the combination of the hotel mountain and natural elements.Chapter4:By describing the application about the three aspects of the local culture, traditional elements and classical style in mountain hotels, I summed up the characteristics and the ways of the hotel’s geographical and cultural expression.Chapter5:Based on the principle about the combination of the theoretical analysis and practical case, I interpreting two main constituent elements of the two main constituent elements of the regional with Guizhou Kaili Jiarui Resort.Then I summarized the ways of regional cultural expression about mountain resort.Mountain resort is one of the hottest topics in the contemporary holiday travel sector, its academic research is very difficult.In this article, the author see the regional culture as an entry point and then conducted a preliminary analysis of the geographical and cultural expression in the mountain hotel. The author look forward to be able to initiate and develop new ideas, new methods for regional design in mountain resort with providing some basic research. |
