Small unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) which has the advantages of small volume, light weight and low consumption, can help the Ministry of Land and Resources acquire the land information. Because of the contradiction between the high precision measurement of the land information and the stability of the small UAV, and the high cost of the existing flight control system for UAV, developing a kind of higher performance, lighter weight, lower consumption and lower cost flight control syetem for the small UAV has important practical significance.In this dissertation, the research of flight control system for small UAV based on MEMS, is based on the small UAV for investigating land information, and focused on the miniaturization, lower consumption and higher performance which contains the overall scheme design, hardware design and software design. Engineering prototype and related experiments of the flight control system for small UAV are made.Firstly, the structure characteristics of the small UAV are introduced, and the control process of the small UAV is analysed through modeling and simulation, and the performance requirements of the airborne flight control system are shown. On these basis the design and requirements of the scheme are presented.then, in accordance with the hardware design requirements, the hardware platform of flight control system for small UAV based on the double DSP is introduced, which includes the design of the sensor, differential positioning, servo and communication. After that, the software task partitioning and process for flight control system is the designed by the idea of modularization on the basis of ensuring the software design requirements, including system initialization, data acquisition, communication and servo driver modules. Finally, in orde to test the module performance of the flight control system for small UAV based on MEMS,a series of indoor and outdoor experiments are made, including sensor, communication, servo, flight attitude and outdoor experiments.The test results obtained on the designed flight control system for small UAV based on MEMS show the volume of110×50×20mm, weight of46g, high performance, good communication, perfect interfaces, attitude accuracy of0.35°,differential positioning accuracy of10cm, and meet the design requirements of preliminary prototype.
