With the rapid development of the global auto industry, car ownership in China keepincreasing year by year, traffic accidents occur frequently, which cause serious damage topeople’s life and property safety. The popularization and application of automotiveanti-collision system is helpful for drivers aware of the dangerous situation, assist drivers toevade risk, protect the driver and passenger, reduce the occurrence of vicious traffic accidentseffectively. Thus, the anti-collision system, which research core is intelligent vehicle, attractsextensive attention form people, and become one of research hotspots in the field ofautomotive active safety technology.In order to avoid the rear-end collision accident with the vehicle in front on driveway,the paper puts forward a safety distance model based on different motion state of vehicles infront, including stationary vehicles at a constant speed, decelerate, and accelerate state,provides the basis for determining the vehicle’s driving state by vehicle system; This paperdetermines the overall structure of the system through the analysis of functions of the systemand the design requirements, mainly including car radar ranging system, informationacquisition unit, master documents making and alarm display; The thesis carries on thesystem circuit board design and system software design based on the overall structure of thesystem; System circuit design includes the circuit principle diagram of function modulesdesign and PCB board design; The system software design includes system software functionanalysis, the main program design and each subroutine design; Finally, through constructingthe experimental platform, debugging overall performance of the system, modifying andperfect the system errors and shortcomings.
